Big Bluff Goes Wrong

Bluff goes horribly wrong during the WSOP

We’ve all seen footage of some amazing bluffs in the big tournaments, one example I can think of is Scotty Nguyen betting $100,000 with 3-8 offsuit!  Well, they don’t always go so well.

Sam Farha flops a set, and that becomes a full house on the turn!  Amir Vahedi tries to buy the pot with a $300,000 bet!  Chris Moneymaker folds after Farha calls, and after Vahedi checks Farha pushes another $300,000 on the river causing Vahedi to fold, and Farha picks up a pot of over $1 million!
